You’re Not Fighting Alone

Scripture:

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

— Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)

Devotional Thought:

Struggle has a way of making you feel isolated. It whispers, "You’re alone in this. No one sees you. No one understands." But that’s a lie — and Isaiah 41:10 crushes it.

God doesn’t promise a life without struggles, but He does promise this:

You won’t face them alone.

He is with you when anxiety creeps in.

He is with you when the weight feels too much.

He is with you when the way forward is unclear.

Not only is He with you — He’s actively strengthening you, helping you, and holding you up when you feel like falling. His righteous right hand is a picture of His power and His promise: you are upheld by something greater than fear, greater than failure, greater than anything you’re facing.

You don't have to be fearless to move forward. You just have to remember who’s holding you while you do.

Reflection:

Where have I been believing the lie that I’m alone?

How can I lean into God's presence and strength today?

Prayer:

God, thank You for being with me in every struggle, even when I feel invisible. Help me trust that I’m never fighting alone. Remind me that Your strength is greater than my fear. Hold me steady today. Amen.
