For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” — Psalm 139:13–14 (NIV)
There’s something deeply personal about these verses. They remind us that we are not accidents or afterthoughts—we are intentional creations of a loving God. He didn’t just speak us into existence; He took His time, knitting us together, strand by strand, in the quiet of the womb.
In a world that often measures worth by appearances, likes, or accomplishments, God’s Word anchors us in truth: You are wonderfully made. Your quirks, your talents, your story—it all matters. His hands shaped you with purpose.
Tonight, rest in the beauty of that truth. You don’t have to be perfect to be priceless. You already are a masterpiece in the eyes of your Creator.
Prayer:
God, thank You for making me with care and intention. Help me to see myself the way You see me—fearfully and wonderfully made. Let that truth shape my confidence, my choices, and my peace. Amen.
