The Work Has Already Begun

"And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns."

— Philippians 1:6 (NLT)

Sometimes we get caught thinking we’re not doing enough, not growing fast enough, not reaching high enough. But God reminds us: The work already started. And if He started it, He’s committed to finishing it.

Improvement isn’t about rushing to perfection — it’s about trusting that every step, every small decision, every act of obedience is part of a greater masterpiece. Growth is slow on the surface but powerful underneath. Even on days when you don't feel progress, heaven sees it.

You’re under construction — and that’s exactly where you’re supposed to be.

Reflection Questions:

Where have I seen even a small improvement in my life recently?

Prayer:

Lord, thank You that You never leave a work half-finished. Strengthen me today to trust the process You’ve started in me. Help me see progress through Your eyes, not mine. Amen. How can I trust God more with my growth journey?
