Scripture: Ephesians 1:3-4 – “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him.”
Reflection:
Ephesians 1 reminds us of the incredible blessings we have in Christ. Before the world was even created, God had already chosen us to be His own. This means our salvation and purpose in life are not random; they are part of God’s eternal plan.
Paul tells us that we are blessed, chosen, redeemed, and sealed by the Holy Spirit. These are not just earthly blessings but spiritual riches that secure our identity and future in Christ. No matter our struggles, our position in Christ is firm—He has called us to be holy, covered us in grace, and given us an inheritance that can never be taken away.
Application:
Live with Confidence – Your worth is not based on achievements but on being chosen by God.
Embrace Grace – God lavished His grace on you; walk in that freedom.
Walk in Holiness – Since we are called to be blameless, we should seek to live in a way that reflects Christ.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for choosing me before the foundation of the world. Help me to walk in the confidence of Your love, to embrace the grace You’ve given, and to live a life that honors You. Thank You for the blessings I have in Christ. Amen.
